Our Goal
At Neelu Geneva, we believe that every child deserves access to clean and safe drinking water, not just for survival, but for a chance at a brighter future. Water is more than a basic need; it is the foundation of health, education, and opportunity.
Yet, in many rural areas in India, children are forced to walk long distances to fetch water or rely on unsafe sources, exposing them to preventable diseases.
That’s why we are committed to transforming rural schools in Telangana, India, starting with the village of Peddapalli, by installing sustainable water filtration systems. Our goal is simple: give children the chance to focus on learning, rather than worrying about where their next sip of water will come from.
Our Mission & Values
At Neelu Geneva, our mission goes beyond just installing water filters. We aim to create lasting, sustainable change by combining infrastructure, education, and community engagement. By addressing the root causes of water scarcity, we help children thrive, grow, and build a brighter future.
WATER PURIFICATION
We will coordinate with the local NGO to install water filtration systems in rural schools in India. Ensuring the students, staff and their families have access to safe, clean drinking water every day.
HYGIENE TRAINING
Through hands-on hygiene education, the local NGO will teach children the importance of washing hands, using clean water, and staying healthy. With proper training, they build lifelong habits that protect them and their families from preventable diseases.
SUSTAINABILITY
The local NGO will promote smart water use by teaching students how to reuse water for washing utensils or growing produce at school. By adopting eco-friendly habits, they contribute to a healthier environment while maximizing the impact of clean water access.
EDUCATION
Access to safe water means students can stay in school, concentrate better, and reach their full potential. With you help we can provide the children with the opportunities to excel in their careers and shape a brighter future.
COMMUNITY GUIDANCE
Clean water doesn’t just help students, it strengthens their entire community. By empowering families and school staff with sustainable water solutions, we create a lasting impact that benefits future generations.
To bring clean water and sanitation to a school, it costs 5,000 CHF per project. Every additional donation allows us to help more children, expand to more schools, and improve more lives. Right now, 28 schools are waiting for water filtration systems. With your support, we can reach them faster. Together, we can make clean water accessible to all.

We also work closely with local organizations like the Women Development Welfare Society (WDWS) in Telangana, India. Their on-the-ground expertise helps us implement solutions tailored to the needs of the communities we serve.
